Watercolor Class Week 4: One Point Perspective

I really felt good about this assignment - for one - I learned a lot!  Using color mixing, negative space painting and now finding the vanishing point and using lines to get that perspective right was a lot to take in and use.  But I liked the result.

That, and the great tip from Jackie about a dagger brush for trees - was really helpful.  I loved that!  We used a stiff brush for more of a brushed look for grasses/ground and I liked doing that.  All in all - this was one of my favorites!

I'm not sure if you can tell which time of year it is by the colors - supposed to be that mud-season time of year - but I think so.  I can be easily tricked into thinking it is early November -  but the purples are supposed to indicate late winter.
