About Janet
Janet Blethen is an impressionist landscape painter and is now expanding her media to include abstract painting styles. She resides in Georgia with her husband and daughter.
She has been juried into three judged shows during the last 2 years in John’s Creek and Cumming, GA and is a member of the Sawnee Association of the Arts. She has been studying under award-winning artist, Jeanne Matey, in both acrylic and oil mediums at Soulful Arts Studio. Janet has also become an avid admirer of acrylic textured backgrounds having participated in workshops led by award-winning artist, Mary Negron.
Her passion for painting continues to grow, propelling her to explore, study, create and delve into new media and techniques.
